Breakfast is also served in the restaurant and offers a choice of either full English or buffet style breakfast.
Cloisters Dining Rooms was established in 1998 as an extra facility to the Scarisbrick Hotel. Cloisters is housed in what used to be the hotel's original stables, when the hotel was 1st built as a coaching inn during the latter part of the 19th century. The restaurant was created using carefully retrieved and restored stained glass and artefacts sourced from the local region, which has helped to create an environment of warmth and great interest. The menu is written in an English style using local produce whenever possible, with the main focus being char-grilled food cooked over hot coals. The cooking of the dishes is designed to be healthy and light, reducing fat contents and offering subtle flavours. The restaurant is open 7 days a week offering a very competitively priced, varied and interesting lunch menu with main courses starting at 4.95 GBP. A special feature is our Early Doors Beat the Clock menu (the earlier you dine between 17:30 and 19:30 the less expensive 2 courses are). Theatregoers and late evening shoppers find this an ideal opportunity to experience Cloisters at a very competitive price. The popular Maloneys Kitchen offers morning coffee, a wide and varied selection of hot and cold meals, chef's speciality luncheons and afternoon teas.
